The faithful God

“Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV

The Lord is faithful to His word and to every promise.  This is why it is so important for us to be in the word every day reading it and meditating upon it.  God’s word is filled with promises and testimonies of individuals who trusted in the Lord with all their heart and that He was faithful every time.  His word is the food and sustenance of our spiritual lives.  We must feed on it daily.

The enemy will often times come to us and lie to us and tell us that the things the Lord has promised us and created us for will never come to pass.  They are simply lies and every lie of the enemy is simply broken with the truth of God’s word.  He will do all that he can to separate us from God’s word, but we must set aside time daily to read God’s word and meditate upon it.

The Lord desires that we would come and dine at His table.  He is simply waiting and He is knocking and drawing us to come near to know His heart and His voice.  There is much He desires to do in this day and hour and He is simply seeking vessels who would desire to glorify and honor His name.  The only thing that will stop us from advancing in God’s kingdom is ourselves.  We must put away the deeds of darkness and embrace the leading of the Holy Spirit.  As we seek the Lord and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will not gratify the lust and desires of the flesh.

Heavenly Father lead me this day to be the child that you have created me to be.  Remove all things from my life that are a distraction and open my eyes and heart to see and understand.  I desire to be a vessel for your glory and to move in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit.  Have your way in me and I pray that your will be done.  In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!

In the world to day many have drifted far away from the truth. Lots of people do not want to see the relation of what happened in the garden of Eden at the beginning of times and what was promised there.

Several people may believe in the promise made over there but still think that one Messiah still has to come. Others do not want to believe the Creator was able to make perfect human being who could follow His commandments and therefore He would have to have come down to the earth to fake his death and to fake that He was taken out of the dead.

Scriptures tells us that man nor death can do God anything. That truth is overlooked by many man. they seem to forget that God is a loving God Who keeps His promises and Who says things how they are, not wanting disorder, but order like He created order out of chaos. that was part of His creation and is still part of His Plan.

Our hopes should be in that Plan of God which shall come to be fulfilled. the adversary of God is always around trying to confuse people and to bring them on the wrong path, making them worshipping some else than God the Divine Creator of heaven and earth.

It is Jesus who invites us to come and sit at his table. Jesus and God are knocking at our doors. Jesus is the Way to God and the Way to the Kingdom of God.
With the birth of Jesus the kingdom came near and people had to come to see the messenger of God, who was promised already long ago. Many did not want to see in this miracle-worker the man of God, the prophet who would trample the figurative snake, making an end to its killing snakebite. With Jesus death became nailed at the wooden stake, but people still had to come to accept his offer, like his heavenly Father accepted the ransom offer.

Jesus asked us to become one like he is one with the Father. that is not such an easy task, because Jesus managed to do the Will of God and did put his will totally aside to please the Only One god. Naturally in case Jesus is God he always would have done his own will, but here we have a man of flesh and blood who was wiling to put himself totally aside for helping others, for having the best relationship with the Creator.

We too should go for that best relationship with the Divine Creator Deity. He is the One Who calls and has given us His only begotten son so we may be cleared of our sins. Like Jesus prayed to his heavenly Father and taught us to pray we too should pray to god and only worship Him.

    1. It is important to understand that Jesus and God the Father, and the Holy Spirit are one. Jesus is God and when He came to the earth He emptied Himself and took on life of a servant becoming fully man. He did all things through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is much more than a prophet, He is the Son of God. The apostle Paul wrote that a great falling away would take place before the return of the Lord and we are seeing the beginnings of this now. I appreciate the reblog. God bless.

      1. Please can you tell us where you get it from the Holy Bible that Jesus would be God? In your reply you say yourself Jesus is the son of God, though at an other point you say he is God himself? Why do you not believe what God Himself says about Jesus? You seem to give the impression that both on different occasions did not tell the truth? SO where they than telling lies? Though the scriptures do tell us that God does not tell lies and it also says that Jesus could sin but did not, so this would mean that Jesus always told the truth.

      2. I am going to give you three passages from scripture that point to Jesus as the Son of God and being part of the trinity which is made up of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Throughout the Old Testament when they are referring to God they are speaking of God the Father. But God the Father sent His Son Jesus to this earth to reveal who He is because God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all distinct, but they are also the same. It is a concept that cannot be understood by the human logical mind, but can only be understood through revelation of the Holy Spirit. The first passage of scripture is found in John 1:1-5: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend[a] it.

The word here speaks of Jesus. Jesus was the word made flesh. He was with the Father in the beginning and all things were created through Him. He is eternal and it is only through HIm that salvation is found.

The second passage is found in Colossians 1:9-18: 9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood,[c] the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

It speaks of Jesus being the image of the invisible God. Jesus came to reveal who the Father is. He is before all things and all things are created through Him. He holds all things in His hands and He is fully God and fully man.

The last passage is found in Matthew 22:41-45: 41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?”

They said to Him, “The Son of David.”

43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:

44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord,
        “Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?[f]
45 If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

This points to the covenant God made with King David in which the Lord told him that he would always have a descendant to rule upon the throne. But David calls the coming messiah Lord. Jesus is Lord of all. He is fully God and fully man. I would encourage you to read through all of the new testament especially the book of Hebrews as it reveals how through Jesus He is our faithful high priest and we are able to draw near the throne of God because of the righteousness found through the blood of Jesus. Trust is only understood and discerned by revelation through the Holy Spirit. It is impossible to understand God’s word and truth without the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit. God bless you on your journey with Christ.

  2. David Campbell Jr. when you look at John’s 1st chapter he speaks about a substantive and an action which is considered the result of letting breath coming out of the mouth: speaking and uttering a word. God Spoke and there was a Word.

Literally translated you can find the evangelist saying: “In a beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and a god was the Word.” (Emphatic Diaglott – interlineary side)

    > Yah Chanan (#Jo 1:1-3): In the beginning the Word having been and the Word having been unto God and God having been the Word he having been, in the beginning, unto God all through his hand became: and without him not even one being whatever became.

Aramaic New Covenant; ANCJ Released: 1996 Contents: New Testament Source Used: Exegeses Bibles (1996) Location: Tyndale House, Cambridge, United Kingdom

It says nowhere that Jesus is God but refers to Jesus being the becoming into flesh by the Word of God. In the garden of Eden God promised salvation against the fall of man and now with the birth of Jesus this came into fulfilment.

You seem to take the or a word to be a person, like you probably also then take wisdom a person, but they are no persons as such.

“In the beginning was the Word … all things were made by him.”3 “logos” does not in itself denote personality. It is personified by the masculine gender in the a.v., The Diaglott avoids confusion by translating the pronouns in the neuter-“through it every thing was done.”4 An Old Testament parallel to the personification of logos is the personification of wisdom: “The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.” (#Pr 8:22, 23). In this passage, wisdom is personified as a woman. (#Pr 8:1, 2).

Also you do not seem to see the difference between a god and the God.

The NT Greek word for “God” and “god” is theos. In the writings of the Gospel writers (including John) when an unmodified theos (the form used for subjects and predicate nouns) is accompanied by the article, “the” (? [pronounced ho] in Greek), and has no added phrases (e.g., “the god of this world”), then it always refers to the only true God.

    1. Understanding the depth of scripture does not come by man made ways. Understanding the deep revelation of scripture only comes through the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Scripture has been misinterpreted because man in his own wisdom has tried to use tools to interpret instead of leaning and relying on the Holy Spirit alone. I know that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is part of the God head because it has been revealed by the Holy Spirit. Unless someone is led by the Holy Spirit in the study of God’s word it merely becomes a study in academia and leads to misinterpretation of scripture that keeps people from the fullness of all that God has for them.

There are many today who are blinded just like the pharisees where in Jesus day. They were blinded by their own pride and failed to see Jesus as the promised messiah. They could not recognize the work and ministry of Jesus. Everything I have every written and come to understand through the study of God’s word has been from time spent praying in the Spirit. Jesus is returning soon and when He does all the world will see that He is truly God and that He will rule the earth for one thousand years. He sits at the right hand of the Father and lives daily to intercede for us.

      1. We just see the Messiah and do recognise what he really is and what he really did. We also understand he did not tell lies and did not sin, though he could have done. When Jesus told the Father is greater than Him, we do believe him. When Jesus said he did not know when he would come back or who would sit next to him, we do believe Jesus really did not know. When the bible tells us that Jesus died we do really believe that. We also believe that Jesus was three days in hell after which he was taken out of the dead by his heavenly Father. We also believe that Jesus again did not tell lies when he appeared to his disciples and said he was not a Spirit.
In case Jesus is God he would have not told the truth or told lies many times.God also would not have told the truth, Because God says nobody can see Him and live though many saw Jesus and did not fall death. God also tells us He can not be tempted nor can do man or death anything to him. Jesus was tempted more than once and was really afraid of man and death, even at one point sweating water and blood and calling unto God asking why God had abandoned him. In case Jesus is God it would be a very schizophrenic situation, would it not?

We do believe Jesus really did die for the sins of many, but in your way of thinking Jesus being God this would be a farce and Jesus having nothing to fear, because he as God knows everything and knew man nor death could do anything to Him.

Do you not only make a fool of Jesus and God but also make a cruel God of the Creator, because why did he not intervene straight ahead in the Garden of Eden and why let He us suffer still and why after Word War III shall he have us an other 1000 years to wait before the final Kingdom of God shall be a blessing for us all?

      2. When Jesus came to this earth He emptied Himself and fully became man. He has always existed with the Father. The Father did not intervene in the garden of Eden because true love cannot exist without freewill. My prayer is that your eyes would be open to the truth of who Jesus Christ is. My question to you is if you have been filled with the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who reveals all things. Jesus is God and God is made up of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is revealed truth through scripture. From this point I am not longer going to have a discussion on whether or not Jesus is God. It is truth and truth cannot be argued. You either believe it or you don’t. But anytime you reject truth you open the door to darkness and deception because when light is rejected the only thing that is left is darkness. Jesus and the Father are both part of the triune Godhead. Again truth is understood only through the revelation of the Holy Spirit when we humble ourselves.

      3. Did you ever wondered who perhaps could be the ones guided by the Holy Spirit. Why did you never question if it could not well be that those who took the Words of God and the words of Jesus Christ like they are written in the Bible could be the ones who follow the Spirit of God.

To be hones I think lots of the trinitarian Christians their eyes do not go open because they prefer to keep to the human dogmatic teaching of the trinity. In my eyes they prefer to hold to tradition and enjoy their ears being tickled by such dogma’s which make everything more mysterious, but above all allows them to worship more than one god and having even pictures of those gods in front they can bow down (an abomination in the eyes of God.)

Did you never question if it could be possible that it are just those trinitarians refusing to believe that The Elohim Hashem Jehovah is the Only One God and that Jesus is the only begotten beloved son of god (like is written in the Bible) who could be the ones being blinded because they do not want to accept Biblical teaching?

You also forget that by saying Jesus is God you make him a liar and make of God a liar as well and the Bible full of contradictions as well.

Let us always remember that God cannot die but Jesus really did. He as son of man had to have enough faith in the Scriptures and what he had heard from religious readers, trusting his heavenly Father, that God would really exist and would take him out of the dead sometime. Jesus as a human being really had to fear man and death and have enough faith in God to give his body as a ransom for all. In Jesus we find the best example of faith, next to Abraham his faith. In case Jesus is part of a tri-une god, he would not have had to fear when he was God because The God tells us no man can do Him anything and death can not do Him anything. God is an eternal Spirit, but Jesus knew death would make an end to his life and showed also to his apostles his wounds to proof he was (is) no spirit.

In case Jesus is The God he also would not have told the truth on many occasions and as such would have lied, which according to the Bible is sinning, but that same Bible tells us that Jesus did not sin and also says that God also is an All-knowing God Who does not tell lies. Trinitarian Christians make both of them clowns or fools and make fools of Christians as well, because they would follow such ‘charlatans’ or imposters..

      4. The thing about truth is that it cannot be argued against. It is either received or it is rejected. During Jesus earthly ministry and through out God’s word Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life that no one comes to the Father except through Him. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He was at the beginning with the Father and everything that has been created was created through Him. He is not created, He has always been.
He shall return one day to rule the earth, but when He died and rose again and left the earth He sits at the right hand of the Father. It is the Father’s will that none should perish, but He has given every heart a freewill. It is a person’s decision whether or not to receive Jesus as Lord in Savior. The only way to understand the truth of God’s word is through the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is only received at salvation when a person places their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.
People are blinded to the truth by their own arrogance and pride and each and every person will stand before Jesus Christ someday and give an account of their lives. Those who have received Christ will give an account of the faithfulness of the gifts and talents the Lord gave them. For those who rejected Christ they will be cast forever into the lake of fire where the fire never goes out, it is black darkness, and the torment go through eternity.
Jesus is the Son of God and the second person of the trinity. I will never argue whether Jesus is God because it is absolute truth. There are many who will reject the truth of the gospel and will be on the earth during the time of the great tribulation and the anti-Christ. God’s mercy and love are everlasting and Marcus this day the gospel has been presented to you. What you do with it is your choice, but to reject it has eternal consequences in which you will spend all eternity separated from God.
People often make the claim that Jesus is not God so that His words don’t hold merit. And there have been many who have rejected the truth because Jesus said that broad is the road that leads to destruction and many walk on it, but narrow is the road that leads to life and few find it.
Marcus the truth is that Jesus loves you and He laid down His life for you. He desires to fill you with the Holy Spirit but you must be willing to humble yourself before Him and confess your sins and ask for forgiveness. Do not allow your pride to keep you from all that God has for you. But the truth is that Jesus is God and He is from everlasting to everlasting. He is returning soon and this day the Lord of glory is reaching out to you.
