Psalm 118:5-6: I called on the Lord in distress

I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord ison my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

Psalm 118:5-6 NKJV

As believers in Christ we have nothing to fear.  The Lord of the universe goes before us and the battle belongs unto Him when we place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ.  The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells within us and the resurrection power of Jesus Christ works through us.

We are vessels of God’s glory and His power.  As we draw near to the Lord each day and come to know the depths of His heart we come to understand that we live in the greatest hour in the history of the church.  We are a people who have been raised up to fulfill the will of God upon the earth.  He desires to do many mighty things and He is simply looking for those who will put their full trust in the Lord.

Fear is simply a lie and deception of the enemy.  It is not based upon truth because no matter what we face in this life we will overcome because of the blood of Jesus covers us and He sits at the right hand of the Father.  He has overcome the world.  We are a mighty people and soon He shall return for His bride.  Let us prepare daily in the place of intimacy with the Lord.  It is in the place of intimacy that our hearts and minds become one with His.
