For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus laid down His life for us because of His love for us. He didn’t come out of obligations and He didn’t come because He was forced too. Simply because of His love for us the Lord chose the cross. He knew before He came that He would be rejected and He knew before He chose the cross that many throughout human history would reject Him and seek after the world.
But God’s love is eternal and unconditional. It is a consuming fire. If there was only one person who would have chosen Jesus out of human history then the Lord would have come to earth for one person. But as there are many who are rejecting Jesus Christ, there are many who are receiving Him as Lord and Savior and placing their faith and trust in Him.
Let us in this hour simply seek Him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Let us be willing to lay down our lives for God’s kingdom and seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. God desires to display His glory in this hour and He will do it through the lives of His people. He is simply seeking those who will say yes and be willing to place their lives in His hands.
