Let not your heart be troubled

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”  John 14:1-4.

Our hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Our hope is not only in His death and resurrection, but our hope is in His soon return.  The world around us is spiraling into chaos and darkness.  Isaiah the prophet in chapter 60 verse two said that deep darkness would cover the earth.  We are seeing biblical prophecy fulfilled before our eyes.  The earth is being prepared for the judgment of the Lord which shall be poured out during the seven year tribulation.

The blessed hope for every believer is that those whose hearts are fully given to the Lord will be raptured from the earth before the seven year tribulation begins.  As we look at events around the earth we see things escalating at an incredible pace.  The Lord is preparing His bride and setting her apart for His return.  Those who compromise and live in a place of lukewarmness will weep and mourn when the trumpet sounds and they are left upon the earth to experience the wrath and judgement of the Lord.

The Lord is continually speaking through many people throughout the earth.  With the use of social media the Lord is able connect the body of Christ and bring their hearts and minds into unity with His.  We are coming into a time of unprecedented power and glory upon the earth.  Whenever the enemy comes in like a flood the Lord shall raise up a mighty standard.  This standard is His bride and He is amassing and equipping a company of people who know His heart and His voice.  This company of people shall move in the power and might of the Holy Spirit that was fully demonstrated through the first century church and the first apostles.

As believers in Christ we have nothing to fear.  The reason the enemy is raging upon the earth is because he sees all that the Lord is doing.  He sees God’s sons and daughters coming to a place of maturity and it fills him with fear because he knows that when God’s people understand the authority they possess and walk in unity, that the power of Heaven shall be unleashed upon the earth.

We must keep our focus solely upon the Lord.  It is very easy to get focused on the darkness because we are bombarded by it in the media on a daily basis.  But let us focus on the promises the Lord has for us.  He has gone before us and prepared a unique and awesome place for each and everyone of us.  Heaven will be greater than we can even understand or comprehend.  Some people think we are just going to go to Heaven and float around and hang out.  But heaven is the place when life truly begins.

In Heaven we will all have placed prepared for us dependent upon our faithfulness upon the earth.  We will be given responsibilities and we will serve the Lord for all eternity.  We will see Him face to face and we will rule and reign with Him.  There will be no tears or pain, but simply every moment for all eternity will be awesome and incredible joy.  Each day simply prepare your hearts for His return by drawing near and abiding.  Spend time daily in God’s word and the place of prayer and be obedient as the Holy Spirit leads each day.

  1. Keep being faithful to your calling brother. Your Holy Spirit led writings are being used of our Lord Jesus in ways that only our Father in Heaven knows. I know others, including myself, have commented; but then there are those who haven’t for whatever reason. …God knows.

    1. Humble servant

I so very appreciate your encouragement because at times you wonder all that the Lord is doing even though we cannot see. Thank you again.
