28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” John 6:28-29.
For us to accomplish the purposes of God upon the earth begins with our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. The moment we place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ we are born again the the grace of God is poured out upon our lives. It is the grace of God that no only enables us to accomplish the possible, it is the grace of God that bestows His favor upon our lives.
As the sons and daughters of God we need to understand the authority that we have through Jesus Christ. Satan would present himself as the all powerful entity that has a mighty army following him. But the truth is that not only is Satan defeated, but every demonic fallen angel that follows after him. All Satan truly is a liar without power or authority. He is deceptive and deceives the world into believing he is good and deserves the worship that only God deserves.
We who are in Christ are able to see the truth through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us into all truth. This is why those who have rejected Jesus Christ walk in darkness and embrace the things of darkness. They truly believe that the world and its system are good and are willing to spend their lives indulging in that which will only lead to their destruction.
The truth about Satan is that he is only allowed to do what God allows him to do. He is blinded by his own pride and truly believes that he will overcome God and destroy humanity. He fails to understand that every wicked work he does, the Lord turns it around for His glory and the goodness of His people.
God is the ultimate chess player. He sees the entire picture from the beginning to the end. He exist outside of time and simply spoke all things into existence. First there was nothing and then God spoke. When we simply meditate upon this truth alone we find that as born again believers that the enemy is actually a pitiful enemy who is rebuked with a single word.
Let us understand the authority we have and who we are called to be. Let us understand the lateness of the hour and be a people of faithful prayer. The Lord desires to move mightily in the earth and is seeking a people who will truly seek Him first and His righteousness.
God is raising a mighty generation in the earth. He is raising a people who hunger for His presence and His glory. In our day we shall see His signs, wonders, and miracles fill the earth. This will be accomplished through hearts who have consecrated themselves to His glory. Jesus paid the ultimate price so that we could be free. Let us honor the Lord’s sacrifice each day and commit all that we are to Jesus Christ.
