Matthew 21:12-13

12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[e] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’  Matthew 21:12-13

As the body of Christ we are called to be a house of prayer.  The Lord has created us with a specific plan and purpose and chose us before the foundations of the world.  He has placed within us different dreams and different desires.  These dreams and desires guide us throughout the course of our lives.

Many times when we think about the dreams God has given us they can seem impossible based on our current circumstances.  But this is where the grace and power of God comes in.  There is nothing that is impossible for those who walk with Jesus Christ.  The Lord can open doors and close door that no person can open or close.  When He opens a door there is no one who can close it.  He has simply called us to follow Him and trust Him through the process.

Many times the enemy will try to overwhelm us with doubt and fear.  But we cannot allow this to keep us from the place of prayer.  This is why the Lord tells us to fix our eyes upon Him.  When our eyes are fixed on our circumstances we become overwhelmed and often begins to feel whats the use.

But when our eyes are focused upon Jesus alone we are filled with the perfect peace of God and we know and understand that anything is possible.  We must continue to pray and never give up in the place of prayer.  As we pray our Father in Heaven shall hear us and move mightily upon the earth.  Never give up.  Keep pressing on in the place of prayer.
