Bearing with one another

12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.  Colossians 3:12-13.

None of us have done anything to deserve God’s grace or His mercy.  When we are wronged by another person we should simply be willing to forgive.  It is very easy to become offended when wronged by another, but we must view others through the eyes of Jesus.  We must remember what our Lord said upon the cross “forgive them Father for they know not what they do”.  When we walk in humility and love and simply follow the leading of the Holy Spirit we will keep our hearts guarded from pride and from developing division in the body of Christ.  Always be willing to forgive.
