For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; [d]though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified [e]by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved [f]by His life. 11 And not only this, [g]but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.  Romans 5:6-11

God demonstrated His love for us by sending His Son Jesus to die in our place while we were still sinners.  None of us deserve salvation and it is simply by God’s grace and mercy that we are saved.  We are reconciled by His shed blood and by His life we are saved from the wrath of God.  Jesus took the wrath and punishment that we deserve.

When we examine the truth of who Jesus is and the awesomeness of the gospel message, we should be driven to share the gospel to all those within our circle of influence.  All of us have a mission field.  For too long the body of Christ has viewed missionaries as those who go over sees.  But everyone of us are missionaries and witnesses for Jesus Christ.

The greatest witness we have is a life that is transformed by the grace and power of God.  We are living witnesses of our risen Lord and we are a extension of His hands and His feet.  He desires to impact this world for His kingdom because His heart is broken for every life on this earth that is bound in sin.

We who are in Christ have the answer to every problem humanity will face.  The simple answer is Jesus Christ.  May we live our lives as vessels for His glory.  May we abide in Him and continue to grow in our relationship with God.  While we were sinners Christ chose to die for us.  He knew that He would be rejected by many, but for all those who place their hope and trust in Him, they will be saved.
