Ephesians 4:32

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Ephesians 4:32 NKJV

We are called to be kind to one another.  We should be filled with love, grace, and mercy for one another.  When we sit back and truly meditate upon all that Jesus did for us it is incredible that He chose to go to the cross and lay down His life.  He chose the punishment that we deserved and simply did so because of His love for us.  It was His love that led Him to the cross and it was His love that held Him to the cross.  Today we who call ourselves followers of Jesus Christ should be filled with His love, grace, and mercy.  This is only possible as we abide in Him each day.  As we make spending time in His presence the priority of our lives we will see our lives transformed from the inside out by the power of the Holy Spirit.  The only time we will struggle in our walk with Christ and fail to walk in His love and His grace is when we fail to abide in Him.  The Holy Spirit will empower us for all things.  This journey is not based upon our strength or our power, it is based upon the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit.  Hold fast to the faith you have in Christ and continue to press on toward the high call in Christ Jesus.

In Him we have redemption through His blood

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace”‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭NASB‬‬

We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus. We are covered by the grace of God. In Him every sin is forgiven and our sins have been nailed to the cross. We never have to earn His love and our relationship nor our salvation is based upon performance. As we come to understand truth in greater ways we will walk in greater levels of freedom. It is the truth that sets us free and the reason many Christians live in bondage is that they do not have a right understanding of God’s grace. His grace is unmerited and not earned. It is not a license to sin but actually empowers us to walk in freedom and obedience. Let us fix our eyes upon Him daily and grow in our relationship with Him.
